Keisha Sparks, a Boston native, and fashion creative at heart indulged in an early career in the banking industry as a mutual fund’s subject matter expert. Juggling multiple aspirations, Keisha dedicated a great deal of her time to help create and execute a family-owned business. After 18 years, Keisha decided to venture into her life long passion in the fashion industry. Keisha is the founder of K Bloom Boutique and Pink Shoe Lounge Inc and curator of each of these community-dedicated retail spaces that offer an ambiance of self-empowerment and a commitment to encourage self-well being, self-improvement, and self-love. Since opening in 2015, her clientele encompasses an abundance of amazing individuals that share their presence including Pastor Mona Thompson of Jubilee Boston, Anna Foster of A Maven’s World Lifestyle, Liz Miranda State Representative for the Fifth Suffolk District, Traci Jackson Antoine, the Director of the Domestic and Sexual Violence Project for Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.At first glance, Keisha may seem shy, but please don’t doubt her boldness, passion, and commitment toward the empowerment of women and community. Her sense of urgency and willingness to help others radiates in all that she endeavors. Keisha persists in providing multiple internship opportunities for young striving entrepreneurs.
Keisha’s commitment to her community continues to be recognized. She has been acknowledged with the Community Hero’s Among Us Award from the ABCD Corporation for community achievement. Additionally, Keisha will be honored at the upcoming 4th Annual Celebration of Visionaries, where she will receive an award for making strides as a small business owner in the fashion industry.
